Draft — not for automatic publication. This document has been prepared for operator review. Publication date, verified accessibility contact details and final conformance language must be confirmed before this statement is made public.

Accessibility Commitment

SKYSCRAPERS INFO LIMITED is committed to making its website accessible to people with disabilities and to providing an inclusive online experience for all visitors. We aim to ensure that our architectural information, photography, rankings, maps and editorial content can be accessed by a wide range of users, including those who use assistive technologies.

The Operator intends to address accessibility as an ongoing programme of improvement. The Operator welcomes feedback that helps identify and address barriers, and intends to review the measures described in this statement once an evaluation programme is operational.

Scope

This statement applies to the website published at skyscrapersinfo.ltd (the “Website”), operated by SKYSCRAPERS INFO LIMITED, a company registered in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (“Operator”, “we”, “us”).

It covers the public pages of the Website that are made available at the time of publication, including the homepage, building and city profile pages, skyscraper rankings, editorial articles, interactive maps, multimedia content, the contact page, the services information page and the supporting legal pages.

Third-party platforms linked from the Website, embedded content supplied by external providers, and any features added after the date of this statement are covered only to the extent described below.

Accessibility Standard and Conformance Status Status: Not assessed

This Website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.2 Level AA is our technical improvement target.

At the date of this statement, the Website’s conformance with WCAG 2.2 has not yet been formally assessed. The current conformance status is therefore Not Assessed. This status reflects the absence of a completed evaluation; it does not, of itself, indicate that the Website is non-conformant or partially conformant. No third-party accessibility certification has been issued for the Website at this time, and the Operator does not use a WCAG conformance mark on this page.

Honest status “Not assessed” is not the same as “non-conformant” or “partially conformant”. Those conclusions require an evaluation to be completed.

Accessibility Measures

The following accessibility practices describe the Operator’s intended measures and design intent. Whether each practice has been consistently implemented across every page of the Website has not yet been independently verified and is the subject of the assessment programme described in Section 10.

  • Semantic HTML structure for headings, landmarks, lists and quotations.
  • Keyboard-reachable navigation and interactive controls.
  • Text content designed to remain legible at standard browser zoom and text-resize levels.
  • Avoidance of information conveyed by colour alone.
  • Descriptive alternative text for informative images, where provided.
  • Content review intended to identify and remove barriers.

The exact implementation status of each measure across every page of the Website is the subject of the assessment programme described in Section 10 and will be reported there.

Known Limitations

A complete, site-wide WCAG 2.2 Level AA evaluation has not yet been performed, and confirmed limitations have therefore not yet been comprehensively documented. Where barriers are identified through user feedback, internal review or future audits, the Operator intends to record, prioritise and address them as described in Section 10.

The following areas are subject to ongoing review and may present accessibility risks that have not yet been fully tested:

  • Complex data tables, including skyscraper rankings and city comparisons.
  • Interactive maps and location-based visualisations.
  • Embedded third-party media, including video and 360-degree views.
  • The cookie-consent interface, where deployed.

This list reflects suspected risk areas, not verified defects.

Images, Charts, Maps and Multimedia

The Website presents substantial photographic, illustrative and data-visualisation content related to architecture and the built environment.

We aim to provide appropriate alternative text for informative images and to mark decorative images accordingly. For complex diagrams, comparisons and interactive maps we intend to provide text equivalents, accessible data tables or descriptive summaries, where the information conveyed is material to the user’s understanding.

Some embedded media — including mapping, video and 360-degree content — is supplied by third parties. The accessibility of that content depends on the provider and on the configuration we have selected, and may not be fully equivalent to native accessibility features.

Image licensing and copyright credits are managed separately and are not affected by this statement.

Keyboard Navigation and Assistive Technologies

We intend the Website to be navigable using a keyboard alone and to be compatible with commonly used assistive technologies, including major screen readers.

Actual keyboard and assistive-technology behaviour has not been exhaustively tested across all pages at the date of this statement. Specific results for individual screen readers, browsers and operating systems will be published only after they have been verified.

Supported Technologies and Devices

The Website is built using standard web technologies, primarily HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Its accessibility depends in part on the browser and assistive technology supporting these standards.

The Operator has not yet published a list of specific browsers, operating systems or assistive technologies that have been confirmed to provide full access to all features of the Website.

Feedback and Accessibility Assistance

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the Website. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or if you require information from this Website in an alternative accessible format, please contact us using the channels listed in Section 12, subject to confirmation that those channels are monitored.

To help us respond effectively, please include:

  • The URL of the page you were viewing.
  • A description of the issue, or the alternative format you require.
  • The assistive technology and browser you were using, where applicable.

No specific response-time commitment is published at this time. Any future target will be set only after an operational support workflow is in place.

Assessment and Improvements

The Operator intends to establish an accessibility improvement programme. Once operational, that programme is expected to include:

  • Internal review of pages and components using manual checks and recognised automated evaluation tools.
  • Targeted testing against WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria.
  • Prioritised remediation, once recorded in an internal accessibility register.
  • Periodic re-evaluation following material changes to the Website.

At the date of this statement, this programme has not been put into operation and has not yet produced a completed WCAG 2.2 Level AA assessment for the whole Website. The Operator does not represent that automated code checks alone constitute proof of WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance.

If you have contacted us through the channels listed in Section 09 and you consider that your accessibility concern has not been addressed satisfactorily, you may escalate the matter using the same contact details and request further review.
